BELLA MARTINEZ

belle%2015_edited.jpg

Bella (she/her/ella) is a Mother (to a bicultural little and one little on the way), an LMT / bodyworker, a somatic guide implementing cultural somatics, an energy medicine practitioner, a holistic esthetician, a social justice activist, a creative visionary and founder of COMMUNITIE Wellness in Bend, Oregon.

Bella is a first generation American (Xicana), born to two Mexican immigrants, in a small border town in south Texas and grew up living between both Mexico (CDMX, Cuernavaca, Oaxaca & Tulum) and the U.S. (Mostly Austin, TX & now Bend, OR) throughout her entire life. Living in both countries and having only Spanish-speaking parents, she became fluent in both Español & English. Decolonization practices are at the root of her work (thanks to her amazing teachers, guides and friends on this path) and it has become an integral part of her life both personally and professionally.

Her healing work draws from a great understanding of cultural somatics, trauma-awareness practices, herbalism, and Eastern theory and modalities. She has two decades of lived experience, studies and dedication in the healing arts and wellness industry.  Her bodywork and subtle work is intuitive and therapeutic. She combines neuromuscular therapy for pain management along with therapeutic touch and also specializes specializes in head, neck & shoulders, therapeutic work, energy medicine & quantum facial rejuvenation sessions with gua sha. Bella also has an immense soft spot for nurturing mother’s in their full birthing journey with pre- & post-natal bodywork. She holds a safe, sacred space for transformation through a heart-centered therapeutic approach and utilizes certain tools such as facial reflexology, gua sha, artisanal essential oils, and flower essences. She is over the moon about partnering with Healing Justice Collective to offer many of  these services to marginalized communities that have been historically oppressed and bodies of culture.
